Musician Nick Cave was invited by Russell Crowe and Sir Ridley Scott to write a version
Chronology
After his home is conquered by the tyrannical emperors who now rule Rome, Lucius is forced to go to the Colosseum and must look to his past to find the strength to restore the glory of Rome to his people. In the years since the release of the first film, there have been many attempts to write a sequel. His version focused on the more mythic elements of ancient Rome and would see Maximus arrive in the afterlife, only to be confronted by other souls who have not yet achieved their ascension. He was eventually tasked by Jupiter and other Roman deities to return to Earth to find and kill Hephaestus, the ancient deity who had betrayed them. From there, he is resurrected as a Christian and finds himself on his way back to Rome, on a mission to prevent the spread of Christianity, as they meet the new Emperor Lucius. The film should have ended with Maximus cursed to live forever, with a montage of soldiers fighting in the Crusades, World War II, and the Vietnam War, eventually revealing a modern Maximus working in the Pentagon in Washington. The studio decided not to proceed with this version, but the script is available to read online.
Emperor Geta: The gods have SPOKE!
Featured in The 7PM Project: July 3, 2024 episode (2024). I saw the premiere in Sydney. The plot is richer and more emotional than the first. Everyone acted great, Paul did a great job! Denzel has a great talent for comedy and has contributed to many funny stories. Personally, I don’t think it’s gory at all. It has a lot of fight scenes and it’s very cool.
To summarize the cons: 1
The ending is very emotional and has many touching parts. Some dialogue editing changes are too frequent. I personally don’t like this way of editing. I prefer to use a slightly longer shot to focus on one person (preferably the main character) so I can capture small changes in the person’s face during the dialogue. 2. The sea water in front is too real to look fake. The sea water is too blue and perfect, which often has the opposite effect.

3. As for historical rationality, I think that the people of that time did not have a certain understanding of the concept and appearance of the god of death. S. This is a script adapted from the story. There is no need to worry about the originality of the script. So there is no point in worrying if the second is a remake of the first. People say they want to see a sequel, but they don’t want the script to be too tied to the previous one.
This statement itself is contradictory
If we want to see a completely different story, then we should list it as an original script. But on the second it is clearly stated that it is an adaptation. You can judge the screenplay adaptation, but if you’re not happy with its originality, maybe you should rewrite the storybook.
